When you click a product link on this site and complete a purchase, we may receive a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or navigate to the product yourself. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not out of your pocket.

What the commission does not buy

The tier a product is placed in, Beginner, Intermediate or Expert, is decided on published specifications, price and platform support before any link is added. No brand pays for placement, and no brand has editorial review of anything on this site.

Every gear guide also carries an explicit note about who should not buy the expensive tier. That is deliberate and it is the opposite of what a commission-maximising site would do. A reader who buys the right cheaper thing comes back. A reader who buys a 21 Nm wheelbase for a folding cockpit does not.

Why some products link to a search instead of a listing

Several important brands in sim racing sell mostly through their own stores or through specialist retailers rather than through a marketplace. Fanatec, Simagic, Simucube, Asetek, Sim-Lab, Trak Racer and GT Omega all fall into this category to varying degrees.

Where that is the case, we link a scoped search rather than a specific product listing, and we say so on the page. We do not invent a product identifier to make a card look complete. If a product does not have a verified marketplace listing, the honest output is a search link, and that is what you will see.

Prices shown on this site were recorded from live listings and change frequently. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's page before buying. A price on this site should be read as a price band indicator rather than a quote.
